William Contreras and Christian Yelich drove in seven runs combined, while Sal Frelick and Isaac Collins had back-to-back fourth-inning doubles. Bryan Reynolds hit two home runs for the Pirates, but they couldn't stop the Brewers' momentum. Milwaukee scored double-digit runs for the second straight game and will start an eight-game road trip against the Reds in Cincinnati on Friday.
The defending champions are beginning to look the part again.
