PEWAUKEE 鈥 In a proactive measure, all of Pewaukee Lake has been put under a 鈥淣o听Wake Order.鈥 This order is a result of the heavy rainfall the area has experienced.听
鈥淭his order has been made in hopes of minimizing shoreline erosion, protecting sensitive听areas, and ensuring boater safety,鈥 according to an email from the Town of Delafield.听
The Lake Patrol was scheduled to be on Pewaukee Lake today to enforce this order and to听make sure there are no violations. Water levels will continue to be monitored and will听remain in place until the lake level recedes to a safe level, per the email.听
